If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.  If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became an adult, I put an end to childish ways.
For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then we will see face to face. Now I know only in part; then I will know fully, even as I have been fully known. And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love.

If I have to talk about myself or think of something to write next to my name, I feel that dates and categories are less and less important. If I have to talk about that, it’s probably best not to say anything but meet in person and look each other in the eye. But writing something like that down is pretentious. I’m here because I like the idea and the circumstances, too. I’m happy to be in the company of friends. It’s that simple. And a few words about Paul the Apostle: at first, I didn’t like him very much. To me, he was rather someone you cannot just ignore. Our relationship reminds me of the friendships that evolved from disdain to the tightest bond possible. When I experience something like that, I feel proud that I was able to overcome my initial prejudice and that I could find a way to another person. Yesterday I read a phrase that stayed with me: “the heart unyielding in the search for well-formed truth”. I like that.

In early 2013, I met Soma and Péter by happy chance.
Despite being a commercial director, I was really excited to shoot the first part of “Footsteps of Paul” as a test project, together with these two great men, my wife, Enikő, and all the other enthusiastic helpers. Besides having a completely free hand while shooting the film, I made two friends with whom I would be happy to continue sailing in the footsteps of Paul at any time.
